Description:

Romantic comedy: Will Hayes, a 30-something Manhattan dad is in the midst of a divorce when his 10 year old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Is her mother Will\s college sweetheart, the dependable girl next-door Emily? Is she his longtime best friend and confidante, he apolitical April? Or is she the free-spirited but ambitious journalist? As Maya puts together the pieces of her dad\s romantic puzzle, she begins to understand that love is not so simple or easy. I saw this movie last night with an invited audience of about 100 people. It started out kind of serious and disturbing. There is a scene where a little boy sees his mother kill his father then herself. If that image doesn't disturb you, the boy gets horrified by a demon seconds later and hides in a closet to be found later by his grandfather.

Description:

Martin Freeman plays Chris, a frustrated TV producer who is forced to leave his unreliable flatmate Bob played by Velibor Topic in charge of showing a series of real estate agents around the house he is trying to sell. Worried by Bob's habit of spending all day working in the basement playing loud music, Chris asks his friend to listen out for the door bell and show anyone who comes calling inside. Bob promises to do exactly that and for once, not to let him down. Over the course of the day, whilst Chris struggles to cope with his insane TV presenter colleague Jerry, played by Richard Harrington - back at the house it is soon clear that bonkers Bob is taking his promise to Chris rather too literally. Bob has indeed, allowed anyone inside, including a couple of gun-toting gangsters - an incompetent young Brit played by Danny Dyer and an incontinent American played by Corey Johnson. That evening, Chris is surprised to return home and find his flatmate, four estate agents, two Jehovah's Witnesses, a corpse and a terrified children's entertainer in what remains of his flooded kitchen. Of course, a roomful of water and broken furniture doesn't mean the end of the world - but the half-crazed American sitting outside the toilet with a gun, just might.

Usually it's the partying teens breaking out the Ouija Board that starts all the trouble in a horror flick. In the case of Bloodmask: The Possession of Nicole Lameroux, they take to the Ouija Board about an hour in hoping to get some answers as to what in the hell was going on. I was curious myself for I, too, had little clue what the hell I'd been watching for the past hour. I don't know if it was because the plot was a truly convoluted mess or if because I was missing key pieces of dialogue while having to constantly fiddle with the audio, but Houston, we most definitely had a problem.

One thing is damn certain: this movie boasts one of the worst audio jobs I've ever heard. I don't know if it was the filmmaker's fault or that of the company that did the DVD authoring, but one moment everyone would sound like they were whispering, so I'd have to crank the audio up. No sooner would I do so, someone would scream or some loud music or sound effect would play, blasting at near maximum level, forcing me to scramble to turn it back down. I was constantly going up and down with the audio, missing out on entire pieces of dialogue all in trying to keep from blowing out the speakers on my television set. So not only did this movie suck, just trying to watch it was a complete pain in the ass.

Garfield Gets Real is a computer-generated animated movie starring Garfield the Cat, produced by Paws, Inc. in cooperation with Wonderworld Studios and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox. It was written by Garfield's creator Jim Davis, who started working on the script in the fall of 2005. This was the first fully animated Garfield film since the last Garfield and Friends TV episode aired in 1994, and the first to be written by Davis since the 1991 television special Garfield Gets a Life. The DVD was released in stores November 20, 2007. Mobile Movies: Transformers (2007)

Description:

A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain's glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain's ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain's glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth - in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all "specimens of this alien race," and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens.
